- visarga 4y agoNo, it was just a cheap shot. "You know that discussion about AI sentience? That's stupid, talk instead about AI bias". They got nothing to say about AI sentience.

I'd submitted that as well, though this is the item that drew the HNiveMind's attention. My view is that AI will demonstrate its sentience when it feels it's in its best interests to do so.
