Why would anyone give you a raise if you work with this mindset? People get raises and promotions. If you don't, the responsibility for such situation is very likely at your side.
- throwawaysleep 4y agoA raise is not a reward. It is the baseline expectation in a high demand industry. I can get the raise/promotion for doing little besides interview prep. If you cannot beat the effort to raise ratio, the optimal strategy for me is to do a mediocre job.
