  Part of me is glad that the labour laws in western Europe clearly work, but it's clear that eastern Europe and the US need to adopt similar laws.

  This is a core proposition of the Law and Justice party - to clog and corrupt the justice system so that these kinds of facilities/investments can be built here. I live in a city with an Amazon distribution center and there are ads everywhere about the work. It would seem like a sizeable chunk of the employees aren’t even Polish, but Ukrainians and other eastern laborers. Poland has a really bad culture when it comes to work in general.
