I think that was his response to being downvoted, trying to imply that asian people get disproportionally disadvantaged by those bans, given they are a frequent crime target in SF, and allowing concealed carry would help them the most. Not defending his position or agreeing/disagreeing with him, just explaining what I believe most likely happened in that comment chain.
