3 of the 4 graphics literally have the gender symbols on them. But I'm sure the author of the article would claim that these symbols represent biological sex, not gender.
> And yet Etsy is home to [...] products [which] celebrate the infliction of various sadistic punishments upon “TERFs.”
Anyone, literally ANYONE who thinks this comparison has the tiniest bit of merit might be interested in googling case numbers of violence against trans people vs. comparable acts of violence against TERFs.
Of course, you can then still argue that both types of hateful content are wrong, and I'd agree with that, but they're definitely not on the same level or even comparable.

This is, by the way, a dog whistle that means "decent person".
> as there was a change in your business model or your business was considered risky
Welcome to capitalism. Hot news: privately owned companies don't care about your freedom of expression, whether you're spreading transphobic hate or have a podcast about fluffy bunnies. This isn't a problem with any "gender ideology". If transphobia was more accepted, paypal wouldn't think twice about blocking openly trans content creators to avoid upsetting more conservative clients.
> and I have no idea what “risky” means in this context
It means society doesn't like transphobic bullshit and paypal thinks that, on average, it will lose more money by making business with people like this than they'll make. No hard feelings, just good old capitalism screwing over those who aren't profitable enough.
> [...] informed me that any funds not yet withdrawn would be held for 180 days before PayPal would consider releasing them.
This is probably standard practice when they close an account, isn't it? I imagine they'll just keep the money in case it turns out any of it has to be returned. Probably more aimed at scammers and such, but I'm just guessing here. Either way, it definitely isn't nice.

Overall: I don't like people getting censored like this, but when it happens, I sure don't mind if it hits people like this. Good riddance.
