The case for turning off your Zoom camera
- raxxorraxor 4y ago> Having a camera on can often be seen as a sign of engagement I want it to generate a stream from a video where it shows me in thinker's pose where I nod in randomized intervals please. Otherwise I don't like people inside my computer. If they must be there should be a function where a member can anonymously paint beards, tattoos and others stuff onto participants that is shared for everyone aside the victim. The article is a bit dramatic suggesting that cameras on/off can be bad for your mental health. Perhaps this is just your colleagues using notebook cameras which often have their focus point within their noses.
- mensetmanusman 4y agoI turn my camera off so that I can walk during my meetings. Walking is far superior to sitting from a health and memory retention standpoint in my case. I know I am far more engaged than colleagues who have been sitting all day.
