These are not the sandals that fall apart in the middle of a vacation or give you blisters. In the last few years they lost their soul and started using "yoga mat" -- an open-cell foam -- for most their sandals. I spent over an hour on the phone trying to explain to them why sandals which get wet and STAY WET all day were such a problem. Born in surf culture, and honestly couldn't care less.
