As is clear from internal documents, the Wikimedia Foundation had hoped to have more customers than Google on board by now:

"Although we successfully closed an initial set of paying customers for Wikimedia Enterprise at the end of the last calendar year, and have continued to have ongoing sales conversations with additional potential customers, we have been unable to close additional customers as quickly as we projected due to unanticipated legal and product requirements, and will not hit the revenue target for FY21/22."
As it stands, they are barely breaking even, but then it is early days, and Wikimedia certainly aren't in need of the extra revenue.
In its 2020/2021 (July 2020 – June 2021) financial year, the Foundation grew its endowment by about $40 million and its assets by over $50 million, for a combined surplus of around $90 million.
The 2021/2022 year seems to be headed for a similar surplus again: assets had already grown by over $50 million after the first three quarters, with fundraising targets exceeded and spending lower than budgeted.
