Between this and the White House announcement that they want to limit the amount of nicotine in cigarettes, I'd invest in tobacco companies. People are about to start smoking a lot more cigarettes.
- gkoberger 4y agoI mean, sure, "get your bag" as the kids say. But attempting to profit by betting on the deaths of fellow humans just feels like the definition of "late stage capitalism".
- LeafItAlone 4y agoOr, alternatively, see the writing on the wall and foresee what next steps will come, like in other countries. Doesn't seem like a long term investment.
- barry-cotter 4y agoIt’s a growth market for suppliers of illegal products. Going to be interesting seeing smuggled Mexican cigarettes appear all over the US.
