According to Wikipedia Juul was founded in July of 2017, in December of 2018 Altria bought a 35% share valuing the Juul company at $38 billion. So A. I think they would have had some influence and B. Altria just didn't notice all this apparent mismanagement of a company that continued operating until now, 3+ years later?
- wollsmoth 4y agoOh, I thought the action was about what they had been doing in the past. The wheels of justice can move pretty slowly, especially if ones legal team is doing their best to slow things down. I'd hope that Altria knows how to operate properly by now, anyway, whatever they did, they probably deserve it. Whether it's the responsibility of the new guard or the old doesn't matter too much I guess.
