  Even worse -- the horrors of having to find a book in the library to answer your question. When I started working all the senior devs had full bookshelves of O'Reilly books, and if you got stuck you went to them to either ask a question or use their books. Then as they left the company, all of us would fight over who got ownership of the O'Reilly book collection!
