The 2x-3x speed-ups were for the generators and slow typing speeds. I know the tendency is to exaggerate things, but I'm not for that. I like honesty because it's not complicated. When one lies they have to keep that in memory for the next time :P So yeah, the video is sped up, but the message is correct.
