I appreciate this kind of factual scrutiny. Although this article is focused mostly on PoW/BTC, similar problems exist for PoS chains. It's pretty ironic that a large percentage of PoS/staking nodes run on AWS. Side note: Creating consensus mechanism resistant to Sybil attacks is arguably one of the biggest challenges in the DLT space. But I'm still optimistic, I see it as an opportunity to achieve something truly remarkable.
