i suspect they want to get paid for all the art works that have gone into training the ai...i think there should be a hefty tax on any AI generated content because it's impossible to credit all the people who had a hand in it.
- al_borland 4y agoIs this much different than a human artist being inspired by countless artists that came before them? I can’t give a great painting example, but in the world of music, should The Beatles get a cut from every single band they influenced, which is basically all of them. It seems like of artists went down this road the AI developers could come up with a pretty strong defense.
- yoyopa 4y agoof course it's different. it takes so much effort and conscious choice. it's not like AIs are trained based on only things in the public domain.
