What if there's no swap (as I believe is the current fashion in desktop envs, unlike servers)?
- bryan_w 4y agoIt does something called reclaim where it halts the running of the program and does an O(n) scan of that processes memory space to find pages that can be dropped (forces dirty writes to complete and drops file cache)
