DuckDuckGo has zero results for Sioux Falls (city of 180k in South Dakota)

- ilikehurdles 4y agoWell I’ll be darned. I thought I found something interesting. Tried it for several minutes, even altering the search somewhat (adding the state, changing capitalization), without getting results, but now it works. I’d delete my submission if I can find out how.
- incomingpain 4y agoI feel like the results I received were reasonable. Pulls up city's own site, wiki, tripadvisor, expedia, various tourism related sites. Is there something else you were expecting?
- ilikehurdles 4y agoWhen I posted this there were no results at all. I tried a few approaches, like including the state, capitalizing the city, but it always returned absolutely nothing. All the while, I was getting search suggestions that included the term. Of course, to my embarrassment, immediately after posting to hn it suddenly works.

- messe 4y agoBroken for me too. I haven't had search results on DDG for any query for over an hour. I'm running FF on macOS in the EU (I've tried across multiple locations via VPN).
