I got a cheap Surface Go 2 a few days ago, with 4 gb ram. Installed Fedora 36 and it works ok with a few caveats [0]. It feels smoother than win11 which it came with. I have Weston running in a separate tty where I run the full Waydroid UI/a complete Android OS. This runs super smooth and games like Asphalt 8 and a Tux racing game has great graphics with no lag. Firefox for Android works as well, but I have seen more crashes than I'd like, I might try upgrading from LineageOS 10 to 11 one day and see if it fixes it. Video at 1080p plays fine in Fedora, Waydroid handles up to 720p before it starts lagging.
I really like having a machine that can go from full blown desktop, to Linux tablet, and to Android for tablet friendly games.

* Battery monitor sometimes dies and I have to logout to fix it
* The resolution have to be scaled x2 for the text to be readable and a few modals like the Firefox save dialog is too wide for a 10.5" display in portrait mode
* On screen keyboard is for some reason very small in landscape mode, but large in portrait
