A family member recently purchased a PS5. I have an Xbox Series X. And I am amazed at how unnecessarily awkward and grotesque the PS5 case is. It doesn’t fit well with the decor of almost media rooms nor physically fit in existing cabinets. Also the plastic does not feel premium. Lifting and moving the device you can hear creaks. The bluray drive vibrates the device which can be heard while in use. The XSX player is much quieter. The PS5 has no rubberized feet. At the end of the day these are purpose-built computers to play games. They should blend into the entertainment center. The XSX is a box that quietly does it’s job. For a Microsoft product the XSX has the premium feel.
