I agree with your overall point but I think sculpture might be a bad example in the context of this article. Is it possible that post-peak you kind of lose the audience? I.e. it becomes just for nerds. I suspect you see the same thing for e.g. classic rock. Noone sane listens to 2022 “classic rock”.
