A very long time ago I was quite stupid. I got an email about this weird thing and I tried it. It was slow, did nothing new and I dismissed it. This was the first web browser (NCSA Mosaic?). I dismissed it out of hand. The thing I missed was that despite the problems it had, in a fundamental way it changed how people saw and interacted with the internet. No one now has a clue as to what VR will eventually look like. Meta is clueless, VR critics are clueless. But the fact is that VR changes how we interact with the internet in a fundamental way. IMHO. :-)
