The two people who drove our company to Jira from other tools:
- One of them resigned soon after the migration.
- The other barely uses it today - in fact, he found other tools for his team because Jira is too cumbersome.
The rest of us are left holding the bag because "Jira is the industry standard".
- hinkley 4y agoStruts was an industrial standard for longer than most things, and everyone hated using it for most of that time. A quarter pounder with cheese is an industry standard too, but that doesn’t mean you should give it preferential treatment. Industry standards are often more like consolation prizes than a special experience.
