Not my experience at all. The software I work on has no copy-paste examples on the internet. One of the projects I maintain (for example) is a high performance JIT compiler for a functional business rule language. Not many copy-paste examples out there :) What you are describing is only true if you are a basic CRUD developer. Having said that, most applications are simple CRUD applications so you are probably right for a large percentage of developers.

- mbrodersen 4y agoI haven’t used them. I understand how it works but I am not convinced that they would be useful for me. Having said that I will probably try it out at some point to find out for sure. Only fools believe they have all the answers and that everything they think is true is actually true.
