If it seems in good faith yeah, I used to rarely vote. I noticed shortly after I changed that I got kicked of Reddit, so I guess my opinion matters... people don't silence you if they're not scared. I always boosted people other than myself IRL too, so why not do it here? At least in the "cyber" realm there's a record of it.
