For many years I've been using "Grendel's" converter schematic and firmware that can be found here: http://descentbb.net/viewtopic.php?t=15526 http://descentbb.net/viewtopic.php?t=15526 This makes my Gameport Sidewinder appear as a USB Sidewinder to Linux, and works perfectly. I don't know if there's any relationship between these two projects.
