It is actually possible to install non-chrome browsers on ChromeOS either through the App store or just via the console.
But I totally understand your point and the options I've listed aren't either user friendly or straight up require you to be able to use a console.
- kennywinker 4y agoIt was always possible to install netscape navigator over top of windows. The crux of the issue was that it was "unreasonably difficult".
- scarface74 4y agoIt was never difficult to install Navigator on Windows. You downloaded it from the internet and installed it.
