I think it's only unprofitable in the US. Since China has banned mining, the US has become the country with the largest share of miners, and now as the price drops, mining will simply move to countries with lower costs of electricity.

- kayamon 4y agoDue to the ongoing events in the eastern Europe area, there's quite a lot of people who might have energy they'd like to sell/use for something, but can't necessarily sell it to whom they might like to. If there's a way they can sell it to the Bitcoiners, even at a price they might not like to, they might do that.

- fosk 4y agoProbably a country with cold weather (free air conditioning) and cheap access to natural oil and gas reserves.
