I think erlang would have been a more natural choice here.

- capableweb 4y agoJudging by a previous thread about Citybound, the author is aware of Erlang and was used as an inspiration (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=19587634 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=19587634): > A much simpler, but faster version of some of Erlang yes. It was a huge inspiration. If I hadn't done some stuff in Erlang before, I would never have invented this architecture, and probably would never get the idea to do multiplayer.
