I always ran into issues when switching branches, merging or rebasing. And then you have to figure out what’s going on. If you’re not used to work with submodules, that’s the moment where you have to learn it. And a lot of people get overwhelmed then.
- grogenaut 4y agoThis is what killed it for me. Changes to submodules don't seem to do well across commits/rebases, or bisect type operations. After fixing it on so many people's computers when using modules I just had us give up and move the stuff out.
