I read this book when it came out and once or twice since. Highly recommend it. The minimalist bit of the title does mislead some people into thinking it preaches "get rid of everything digital". But in practice, it is much more nuanced and helpful than that. The quote you extracted sums it up perfectly, it's much more about not passively embracing everything about everything digital. But more about only taking what's worthwhile from those platforms.
