I know of a doctor who was caught supplying hundreds of fake notes to asylum seekers in Antwerp. He is still exercising his profession and his cabinet is doing well, I was told. Here in Belgium, corruption around medical certificates is so widespread that anything that requires subsidies has to be approved by anonymous doctors working for social security.
