I would prefer raw footage with parts highlighted and/or marked instead of these stylized edits which do come across political. I do see the importance of showing the timeline but there are more optimal ways IMO. What I would like to see is a 3d map with every video placed according to its position as well as a calculation where everyone was when exactly. With all this footage something like this should be doable. Of course not by hand. You could then navigate this "world" like in a game and do your phorensic. Google once had this thing in maps where you could watch videos taken at places from certain perspectives. I am not sure what happened to it. Maybe it was too creepy?
