Tesla cars are not garbage, speaking as an owner - we currently have both our 2nd [2018 Model 3] and 3rd [2022 Model Y] acquired-new Tesla vehicles. Other than tire rotation, cabin air filter change, and wiper fluid refill, our cars have required no maintenance. But arguing from anecdote doesn't really help.
