- anonymouse008 4y agoI'm gobsmacked. So this is what Steve meant when he felt Apple was in good hands -- what on earth are they working on now?!
- rvz 4y agoI think about how Apple does things like this: What they are showing you right now is at least 5 years old to them. > what on earth are they working on now?! Exactly. Maybe they are working on a search engine powered by Siri, or even an Apple Car which they started years ago or perhaps AR/XR Glasses. Who knows, I could be easily wrong. Only Apple and the future knows.
- warrenm 4y agoI'm surprised it was that late ...though that lines-up with when they bought PA Semi (https://appleinsider.com/articles/08/04/23/apple_buys_chip_designer_pa_semi_for_278_million https://appleinsider.com/articles/08/04/23/apple_buys_chip_d...)
- zimpenfish 4y agoOof, I was close[1]: "Honestly would not be surprised if it comes out at some point in the future that they launched the ARM-Mac project as soon as they'd successfully switched to Intel." since Wikipedia has "late 2007" for the last PowerPC release.
