kde connect does that, well with text atleast, you just do copy on your desktop/phone and paste on the other device because it keeps your clipboard in sync. now kde connect is even on IOS so basically all major operating systems now has cross compatibilty via kde connect which is cool. if i had to share a screenshot from my laptop/phone, it is a matter of taking the screenshot and "sharing" via kde connect. take all of 3-5 seconds and this workflow is now available to everyone
