I was in Yellowstone last weekend, staying in a cabin in north part of the park and front desk knocked on our door in 2AM telling us to pack everything up and get ready for possible evacuation, and saying that if we don’t leave asap, it would be possible that the road will be closed due to damage from flood and we would be stuck there for days… we decided to wait till the morning because it was raining hard and we thought it would be too risky to drive in that kinda condition. Also got a flat tire due to fallen rocks on the road during the rain… luckily two cars stopped to help us. We were soaked after changing the tire. what an experience
