Ask HN: What's the next step after Newsletters?

Hello HN, I was thinking about how the blogging sphere is evolving over the years. I'm mostly talking about personal stuff which a single person shares on the internet. 1. Sharing thoughts on Mailing Lists / Forums 2. Writing blog posts on some Blogspot and sharing them via RSS Feeds 3. Writing stuff on Medium etc and it gets shared with other users 4. Creating Newsletters 5. ??? Where are we going now? What will the next thing be after newsletters?
