Ask HN: Reverse Equivalents of RT News?
Western-based news that is written specifically in Russian

- dredmorbius 4y agoThere are numerous Russian-language services such as VOA (already mentioned), BBC (https://www.bbc.com/russian https://www.bbc.com/russian), and Deutsche Wellle Russian (https://www.dw.com/ru/%D1%82%D0%B5%D0%BC%D1%8B-%D0%B4%D0%BD%D1%8F/s-9119 https://www.dw.com/ru/%D1%82%D0%B5%D0%BC%D1%8B-%D0%B4%D0%BD%...) There are no independent Russian news organisations that I'm aware of within Russia any more. There are several operating outside Russia, notably Meduza: https://meduza.io/ https://meduza.io/ (In English: https://meduza.io/en/feature/2015/02/02/welcome-to-meduza https://meduza.io/en/feature/2015/02/02/welcome-to-meduza) Also the Russia Times: https://www.moscowtimes.ru/ https://www.moscowtimes.ru/ (English: https://themoscowtimes.com/ https://themoscowtimes.com/)
