Ask HN: "This X Does Not Exist” Monetization Ideas?
How would you monetize a website that produces random synthetic images? Advertising? Link farming? NFTs? Just a link to your LinkedIn profile?
- minimaxir 4y agoIn most cases actually monetizing synethetic images is complicated licensewise. As an example, StyleGAN, which is used for the prototypical "This X Does Not Exist" pages, explictly requires noncommercial use. Then there's copyright, with is even more complicated and almost everyone on the internet is wrong about it.
