- nerdix 4y agoThats why he mentioned using a stable distribution as the default choice. Desktop maintenance is not required with a stable distro. It is for power users who have both the desire to customize their workflow and the time to configure and maintain it. Neither Windows nor macOS offers any suitable options for that type of user.
