That’s how every other country solved this. In the 1990s, there was a ban on assault weapons. Studies showed these laws helped a bit, but weren’t game changers. Same is true with everything being proposed: background checks, “red flag laws,” etc. Realistically, we need to take away peoples guns to stop mass shooters.
