    More or less the only way, but it could have already made a backup to somewhere else, yeah, superintelligence has some inherent perks.

  I don't think we currently have the technology to create a sentient AI. I don't think this is truly an issue right now. I think that mastering the technology to create a sentient AI would require more understanding of why and how we are sentient.
