As the old meme goes: Internet Explorer was the first step to downloading Chrome or Firefox on a new computer.
- binbag 4y agoOnly after they were released. Many users used IE daily. It was fine until we had better options.
- some-guy 4y agoThe large enterprise outfit I work for has 8% IE11 usage still, almost all of which is in Korea. Our customers there go out of their way to not use Edge on their machines.
- kriro 4y agoThe question is why? I want to put on my tin foil hat and speculate about Korean knowledge of Edge 0-days (maybe North Korea is known to hoard those for some reason) but then again if you have edge 0-days it's probably trivial to get IE11 ones.
