Probably not a smart thing to say given the state of self-driving. And why would he even go there - what's wrong with just making a cool car with some neat features that people want to buy?
- seren 4y agoFrom my understanding, some people at least might have bought a car, with the future hope to have a full self driving system. I am not sure everyone will accept "finally it doesn't work" as an answer.
- jstx1 4y agoMaybe but I don't think Elon is catering to those people, he already has their money. I think he's just making grand statements and promises because that's the kind of person he is.
