At first I thought "bleh, typical negative HN comment", but then I read the article and am left with the exact same question. Isn't this just IPFS with heavy backing?
I guess that is the difference though; the backing.
- Rastonbury 4y agoIsn't IPFS free? This looks like a system that takes money from those who pay for storage/computing and pays those willing to allow their idle machines for use.
- t_mann 4y agoIf you want to be sure that your data will remain available on IPFS it's not free either.
