I know this is an anecdote, but Paxlovid basically stopped COVID dead the day after I started taking it. Other than a crappy taste in my mouth, I felt achey maybe one more day and all of my other symptoms went away. Based on prior experience, I was going to have a bad couple of weeks - it turned the infection into a less than a minor flu like event for me. I just finished day 5 of the treatment today, so we'll see about a "rebound".
