- culi 4y agoSorry I'm not really following. Yeah Taiwan's treatment is problematic but that's a larger issue with the United Nations as a whole and not something specific to WHO...
- Chris2048 4y agoTaiwan's treatment is a result of pressure from China, which the WHO, uniquely or not, apparently kowtows to.
- culi 4y agoYour concerns are valid. The IPCC reports were also heavily criticized for heavy biases in due to pressure from the US (particularly the US military). However, that doesn't mean that the IPCC reports weren't overall an incredibly useful scientific feat Yes, like the IPCC, WHO is also susceptible to international political pressures, but I really think if you read through their plan you'd find that it's very well-cited and fairly argued.
