- dragontamer 4y agoThis seems like a good overview of the headwinds facing the cryptocoin community in general right now. Celsius's decision to prevent withdrawals is probably the big one out of everything else, and is likely the cause of the ~18% immediate drop in BTC's price. (I don't know for sure, but... its the biggest loss of confidence event this week IMO, and correlates strongly to the sudden decline in BTC's value)
- davidgerard 4y agoincreasingly sure the crash was a whale dumping while the dumping was good. The market out to genuine actual dollar USD was always very thin, and it only takes one guy cutting and running. also I'm quite pleased we called 3AC ... four hours ahead. wonder who's next. USDD is obviously going down, but they're not systemic ...
