I told a new team about my successful daytrades during Covid during a team building dinner. I swear this team had animosity towards me for the remainder of my time on that team solely due to that conversation. I did not tell them my struggles of getting to that point just the success story of doing all the technical analysis and profiting from it. I did explain my TA, it wasn’t like I was just bragging but I can see how off-putting it could be.
