"Right" implies there is some objective authority who could tell you whether you are using your time the correct way or not. Thinking about spending time this way leads me to feel guilty (I'm not spending it the right way!). The question I ask myself is "what do I want?". It is a tough question. I consider my present and future needs, as well as how I feel. When I have thought about my answer, then it becomes clearer how I want to spend my time.
