Ask HN: Is there something like the mate-in-1 puzzle, but for code?
I was just thinking about the way you can treat debugging or coding as a puzzle, and I wondered if anyone has made a mate-in-1 (chess) style puzzle for code, or even pseudocode?
The idea being less of syntax debugging, and more of logic issues with the code or pseudocode. Fix one thing and the program does what it was meant to do.
Or maybe wordle-style: Choose from a list of given fixes, but e.g. you only get to try up to three of the given choices, and there are five to choose from.
If anything like this exists I'd be interested to check it out.
